An educational project in my early youth showed me how formative cultural participation can be — an experience that remains relevant to this day. For many years, I have been involved in art, culture, education, and research projects with a clear vision and a keen eye for social impact. I write concepts and realize exhibitions as well as participatory educational formats and projects in various contexts. During the pandemic, I worked as artistic director of the Open Air Galerie Hammerschmiede in Kassel and collaborated closely with the local network. I am currently advising the EXPOSEEUM Hannover on the conception and curation of new permanent and special exhibitions, as well as on fundraising issues. I studied art history, philosophy, and German language and literature in Kassel and received my doctorate in 2019 with a dissertation on the scenography of the documenta exhibitions of 1987 and 2002. My academic focus is on art exhibitions of the 20th and 21st centuries, their design, their discourses, and the digital reconstruction of historical exhibitions. I have published various books and essays on this topic, provided editorial support, and contributed to their conceptual development. References
